Hey y’all, I’m Ivy the bread-loving, card-slinging oracle gal of Senim Archives!
I started this work almost by accident. The perfect mixture of needing to understand my existence, embody who I believe myself to be, and my infinite curiosity in the things that “don’t make sense” shot me down countless online rabbit holes. So naturally, the world wide web of 2013 led me to the craft. My taste in television expanded my interest in the occult (especially tarot & divination, shout out to Penny Dreadful, The Craft, and American Horror Story). Since then I've stretched, compressed, evolved, and expanded over and over again. I am who I am because I'm always allowing myself to learn, unlearn, and grow with the flow.
My ‘who tf am I?’ moment came once I decided to define what I do. I was nineteen years old when I began to share myself in this way. I thought it was a longshot to call myself anything other than a simple tarot reading witch. By twenty I called myself a psychic and my peers considered me a healer. To be candid, I didn’t understand what it meant to “heal” others until I met Miik Wells. He said that healers don’t necessarily heal others but create the container for healing to happen. Since then I understood that in reality everyone is a healer it simply looks different for us all.
I’m not coming to you as an expert at life. Regardless of how wise and free I can be, I’m still a woman in her twenty-somethings. I have a fuck ton of learning and transforming to do all the same. I understand that everyone is on their own path thru life and our time together will only be a period along the marathon. So while we’re here I'm sharing everything- my experience, musings and learnings, and my spirituality- in hope that you may gain a tool or a few to carry with you long after we part ways.
The path to liberation requires evolution. - Spirit
Senim was born from my need to build a magical community bringing together intentional souls that break molds and express magic their own way. Us all connecting and relating through shared experiences and wanting to expand our selves.
